These terms cover the Service Starters program, run by Nik Leigh ("we", "us"). By applying and paying for the program, you agree to them. If anything here isn't clear, email hello@servicestarters.com.au before you pay.
Service Starters is a one-on-one, four-week program to help you start a local service business and land your first paying customer. It runs across four live online sessions on Saturday mornings (9:30–11:00am AEST), one-on-one with Nik, plus the work you do between sessions. We provide guidance, structure, and feedback on your actual business. We don't do the work for you, and we don't guarantee a specific level of income.
You apply through the form on this site. If it looks like a fit, we'll have a short call before anything is paid. If we both agree to go ahead, you'll receive an invoice for $2,850 (inc GST), payable as a single payment before your first session. Places are limited and acceptance is at our discretion.
The program works because you show up. You agree to attend the four Saturday sessions and do the work between them. You're responsible for your own business decisions — including registrations, licences, insurance, equipment, and how you deliver your service — and for meeting any laws that apply to your work.
Refunds, and the completion guarantee, are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected with the program is limited to re-supplying the program or refunding the fee you paid.
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version always lives on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
